Snow Update

The snow was supposed to start letting up around 1:00pm, but it looks as though it is snowing harder than ever. I'm watching big flakes drop, and have not seen a car on our street since the kids left for work a couple of hours ago. I am glad that when they get back, they can come in through Log House Lane and park behind the barn. I just looked and it's 20 degrees outside. No wonder the goats won't come out of the barn!

So this is what you do on a snowy day; First light a fire in the wood stove. Then go out and do chores, feed animals, and make sure everyone is bedded down and warm.

Next, give the baby a warm bath, and let her play in the water. Then dress her and feed her. Then give her another bath and let her sleep in the swing.

Let the big dog in to sleep by the door.

And then curl up on the couch for a nap.
