Stormy Weather

I recently posted on FB that this rain was starting to piss me off. I guess Mother Nature got pissed off last night!

But no damage to house or barns. The goats are enjoying the windfall.

Hay Feeder for the Ponies

Here's another great job for the tractor. We replaced the old hay feeder with a round bale holder.

Papa John put it in place and then transported the round bale and put it in place.

Bucket in Action

Here is the farmer starting to work on the big pile of cured manure. It will be spread on the pasture--natural fertilizer!

Sunday Morning Breakfast

Never mind that she polished off a whole bowl of hot cereal with applesauce. When she saw Daddy eating a hard boiled egg she had to have one!

Mmmm. Meatloaf with Ketchup is GOOD!

Holly has discovered ketchup. She knows she can get Papa to put more on her meatloaf if she passes her plate back to him.

New Holland Tractor

So after we got the manure spreader we realized that we then had to fill it with shovels by hand. What were we thinking. It was definitely a case of putting the cart before the horse! So this was next. A scooper. A giant pooper scooper.

Having something that can scoop sure makes a farmers life easier!
