Baby Goats on the Farm

Yesterday, of course, while we were away from the farm, Tulip had her babies. She had two girls and one boy, Velvet, Vickie, and Vince. Here is me and P and D playing with them this morning.

Getting Hay for the Horses and Goats to Eat

Today we went to another farm to pick up some round bales of hay for the horses and goats. The hay is stored in a barn. The farmer let us go in the barn to see the hay because we wanted to reserve 20 more bales. P and D checked out a couple of bales personally. P also took a minute to check out the tractor!

Crocs

We like Crocs! They are colorful, washable, comfortable, and fashionable. And if you step in dog poo, you'll survive it!

Cat Feeding Station

We need a place to put a bowl of cat food where it will stay dry and ready for eating. It can be on the porch since the porch is chicken proofed.

D and P helped me build one!

Rainy Day

Today is cooler but overcast and it's been raining on and off all day. So we swept off the porch and pulled out the little tykes roadway set that I saved from when my boys were little. P and D are having a good time with them.

D and P Haven't missed milking time since they got here. They always take a turn. P is now successful with every attempt and D can milk two handed with a rhythm like me.

Backyard at the Farm

Nana is officially on vacation for the next week. We have lots of projects planned but we decided to start out with playing in the backyard. All the adults on the farm were kind of tired from staying up late talking to Kendra. So we were feeling kind of lazy.









Papa John got a new pool for the backyard and the munchkins love it!

Collecting Eggs

The boys helped me collect eggs this morning. D even climbed up into the pony barn hay loft and collected a giant stash. Right now we are floating them to figure out which ones are fresh.






P got half way up the ladder and decided that was high enough!
