73 degrees - December 24th, 2015 - Rainy!
What's with the warm weather anyway! We have a lovely new wood stove, but certainly don'tneed to run it at the moment. If fact we have not used the heat yet this year.
When the cold weather does come we will be ready.

Happy 2015
Happy 2015. Long time no post! The holidays kept us very busy. Despite vowing no travel in December, we still did. We went to DC the week of December 5th for work. We also took the motorhome south for a week to Florida. I took some extra time off over the holidays, so that was nice. We had a little Norfolk Pine for a tree, now a houseplant in my living room.
We have baby goats! In January, which was so not the plan. We usually hold off until March but Ziggy had other plans. Right now there are 5 little bucklings, no doelings yet, that we are bottle feeding. The kids of course are having a blast with them and this year Mikey learned to use the lamb carry. Doesn't he look proud of himself!

Sunday Morning Waffles and Legos
This morning as I was drinking my tea I heard the porch gate open. Little Mikey escaped from the cottage and came in wearing jammies and boots. Apparently he remembered being told that he was invited for waffles this morning. I texted Andy to let him know that Mikey had arrived ahead of schedule. He got Holly dressed and sent her down too.
We made Belgian waffles, which turned out yummy. After breakfast Papa played with the Lego farm set with them on the floor
We are having another rainy day here, so inside activities are the plan today.
